The function of a cabinet-style fresh air fan

The cabinet fresh air system has a large air volume, which can meet the ventilation needs of larger areas. It can also freely choose between ducted and non-ducted types of cabinet fresh air systems based on the environment. Cabinet fresh air systems are widely used in places with high foot traffic, such as shopping malls and restaurants. If used for home, it is generally installed in the living room. The functions of the cabinet fresh air unit are as follows:
1. It can achieve indoor ventilation without opening windows;
2. Continuously supply oxygen-rich fresh air to inhibit the growth and spread of bacteria;
3. Form a complete air circulation path to avoid moisture and mold on furniture and clothing;
4. Isolate outdoor noise pollution;
5. Prevent smog and reduce indoor PM2.5 levels.
6. Achieve heat recovery, recovering heat from the air expelled in winter and saving air conditioning costs in summer.
Due to the large size of the cabinet fresh air unit, its heat recovery function can truly take effect. When there is a significant temperature difference between indoors and outdoors, it can facilitate heat exchange between fresh air and exhaust air without the two types of air meeting, thus avoiding cross-flow risks. The heat exchange efficiency is not fixed; it is also affected by the size of the heat exchange core and wind speed. Generally speaking, the larger the heat exchange device, the better the heat exchange effect; the faster the wind speed, the worse the heat exchange efficiency.
When winter temperatures are too low, cold outdoor air can easily condense into water droplets when it encounters the higher temperature of the fresh air system's heat exchange device. When these water droplets meet cold outdoor air again, they can freeze, making it impossible for the fresh air system to continue functioning. To prevent condensation and freezing phenomena, many manufacturers install a low-power electric auxiliary heating device before the heat exchange device. When cold outdoor air passes through this electric auxiliary heating device, its temperature is raised to a certain level, preventing condensation or freezing when it goes through the heat exchange device.
To ensure heat exchange efficiency, it is necessary to enlarge the size of the heat exchange device, which in turn forces an increase in the size of the cabinet fresh air system. This can affect the aesthetics of the cabinet fresh air unit and occupy more indoor space. However, if the size of the cabinet fresh air unit is not increased, a larger heat exchange device cannot be accommodated, leading to a significant reduction in heat exchange efficiency.
